The annual FirstBall competition is returning to Tangier Field on Sunday 26th April. The traditional Solent League outdoor curtain raiser promises to be another superb day of slow pitch softball as players and teams return to the grass after a long winter off-season.

Twelve teams have signed up to play in the 30th Anniversary edition of the tournament. Eleven Solent teams are joined this year by Just Locos, a new team based in the Swindon League.
